Fiona Galbraith

Fiona was one of the first girls to attend Manwood’s soon after the school became co-ed in 1982. She threw herself into life at Manwood’s and not surprisingly, for someone who has gone on to take on such a high level of responsibility in the Army, she particularly enjoyed the CCF, alongside being the girls’ first XI hockey goalie. Fiona  served in several British Army campaigns including Iraq and Afghanistan. She rose through the ranks to command 1st Military Intelligence Battalion.

Fiona’s outlook on life is fascinating and reflects a highly proactive, confident and action-oriented mindset: “I have no problem agreeing to do something and then figuring out how afterwards."
